Michael SmithMichael is the brain behind some our most successful products. He was responsible for moving Lilac Light from an on-premise to a cloud based system in 2012 and largely managed the development of our popular CRM package. Additionally he has developed several bespoke systems for a number of companies across the UK. A self confessed geek, Michael loves to keep abreast of the latest developments and technologies in the world of IT, and passing this knowledge on to his colleagues and our customers. He lives with his girlfriend in High Wycombe, and outside of work he enjoys football, quizzes and repairing (and occasionally driving) a succession of old heaps classic cars.
James HardingJames trained as an accountant before making the move into the IT sector more years ago than anyone can remember. His financial background means that he has a better understanding of how a business system should work than most developers do, and as a result he makes sure that all our systems are as user friendly as possible. He co-developed the original Lilac Insurance System in 2001. Since then he has designed a number of applications for blue chip pharmaceutical clients, working with Alpha-Plus Medical Communications, at the time one of the most highly regarded agencies in Europe. James also developed the software for the successful pilot scheme that led to the UK Government introducing Tenancy Deposit Protection in 2007. He also oversaw development of a national database for a previous Government's Carbon Emissions Reduction Target (CERT) scheme. Away from work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons at their home in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
